Ala A Bug's Life

I have a fascination with A Bug's Life. I don't know why I relate to it so much that I usually quote instances and parts of the film every now and then.

When I was drunk at a party last year, my friend, Danica forced me and my friends to just go to bed. Of course I don't want to. So I remember quite clearly shouting:

GUYS! ALAM NIYO BA YUNG A BUG'S LIFE? KAHIT MALAKI SI HOPPER, NAPATUMBA SIYA NUNG MGA ANTS DAHIL MARAMI SILA! GUYS! SI DANICA SI HOPPER AT TAYO ANG MGA ANTS!

I made Danica cry that night. Sabi niya she just wanted us to be safe. Haha! I loved that night.

I can also imitate Heimlich's "I'm a pretty, pretty butterfly" quite well as well. With matching lying down on the floor pa yan. I tell you, it's retarded yet I love doing it.

Today, we had to "save" the relief goods that we were able to gather in the covered courts. A super typhoon is hitting the Philippines once again. We had to create assembly lines just to transport rice, bread, soaps, clothes etc to a safer area. It's tiring yet you know you have to do it. We don't want a five days worth of work down the drain.

When we were passing goods from one person to another a scene popped! THIS SCENE:

And even if this sounds retarded, I felt how scared the ants were that they may not have enough to last them. It scares the shit out of me that we haven't picked ourselves up yet and here comes a super typhoon.

But I believe our nation can do it.

Pinas will be back to normal.
