Buying magazines has been a "manifesto" of my life. I started buying Candy Magazines when I was in High School. Oh yes. I bought every issue. I remember "swooning" over Candy Cuties and I have proof that I tried doing the candy wink in pictures. Ahhh! The horror of that memory! Then, I stopped buying Candy Magazines because it was too "pa-cute" for me already. I, then, started buying Chalk Magazine. I remember my first issue. Georgina Wilson was on the cover. And I loved that issue because it has all those helpful tips I can use throughout that awkward stage of Freshman Year in college.
Then, I just stopped buying magazines after some time. Maybe because I was disappointed with the magazines I bought. It was not helpful. I remember saying that it's just a waste of money. But every now and then, I buy one. Sometimes because I'm bored or because one article featured in the cover was interesting.
I remember buying issues of Girlfriend. But they stopped publication. It was a good magazine!
Magazine reading is also different for everyone. For my friend Kristine, whenever she buys a magazine, she reads EVERYTHING first! Me, on the other hand, flip through the pages and pictures. I then read whatever is interesting for me.
It has been a very long time since I bought a magazine. I have never been a fan of METRO or PREVIEW or COSMO.
BUT PREVIEW'S ISSUE THIS MONTH IS FOR THE WIN! Hindi ko nakilala ang Lola Maricel natin! She's so lovely on the cover! And when you get through the pages of the magazine, she's stunning in every picture. The issue didn't fall short as well in terms of content. It was pretty good!:)
